Description James Th 2019-10-06 21:44:25 UTC
SUMMARY
i used to be able to use the thinkpad function keys synonymous with F1, F2,F3, and F4 (microphone) to change the volume. This is no longer possible

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. try to change the volume on a thinkpad (ensuring Fn key is in-active first).
2. Nothing happens i.e. no icon appears on the screen, nor an actual increase/decrease in audible volume.

OBSERVED RESULT
Unable to change the volume using the dedicated thinkpad volume keys.

EXPECTED RESULT

1. please restart Plasmashell or the computer and see if that fixes it.
2. If not, did you remove the System Tray Audio Volume entry, or remove the System Tray entirely?
