Properties Dialog - folder on desktop

I noticed that the "Location:" item shows "/ (desktop)" when an item from the desktop is examined. A subfolder however is shown as any other folder, see attached screenshot. Is this behaviour intended?

Seems like a bug in the Desktop:/ KIOSlave, which is what Folder View displays.

It technically is displaying "desktop:/" URL, not sure if properties dialog does any local URL resolving there.
