Created attachment 123057 [details] Save As dialog ACTUAL: Sometimes, I am in the following situation 1. I have Dolphin window open to organize things. 2. I have Kate, LibreOffice or another program open and want to save the file into exactly the folder which is currently open in Dolphin. To to this, I currently copy the path out of Dolphin's location bar and paste it into the location bar of the Save As dialog. IDEA: It would be helpful if in the Save As dialog, all currently opened Dolphin window locations would be accessible directly, e.g. in the location drop-down menu, see attached screenshot. Alternatively, the locations could be present in the new Recent Folders section on the left panel.
This has been requested before and seems reasonable enough, but now I can't find the bug report tracking it. :/ Were you aware that you can drag-and-drop files and folders into the main area of the file dialog to have it switch there? So you can actually drag-and-drop the folder icon in the editable URL navigator into the open/save dialog to switch there. Not exactly what you're asking for, but maybe that's good enough? What do you think?
Nah, we should really find a way of doing this.

That's nice! > Not exactly what you're asking for, but > maybe that's good enough? What do you think? Now, that I know it, I'll use it when I am again in the situation. According to your last remark, I think there are indeed ways which are more discoverable.
