STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. The trojita window opens in the lower left.
2. Move the main window.
3. Open the "IMAP/Settings" menu.
4. Click "Save"

OBSERVED RESULT
The trojita window is moved back to the lower left.


EXPECTED RESULT
The trojita window should not move.

We have some code which attempts to save these settings, including the window size/position. Are you running under Wayland by any chance? What window manager and/or compositor do you use?

I'm pretty sure it's not Wayland.
$ loginctl show-session $(loginctl|grep $(whoami) |awk '{print $1}') -p Type
Type=x11

I don't use a compositor (it has too big a performance hit for me).

$ wmctrl -m

Window manager's "showing the desktop" mode: OFF
