You can already do that, install kdepim-addons
Comment 2 James Th 2019-10-05 11:36:01 UTC
ok, thanks!

I'm guessing it should be a distro decision as to whether or not kdepim-addons is installed by default, or is it a KDE decision as to what should be included in the default KDE install, please?

Actually it's already installed - so I think that this should be re-opened as a bug:

> zypper in kdepim-addons

>Reading installed packages...
>'kdepim-addons' is already installed.
>No update candidate for 'kdepim-addons-19.08.1-1.1.x86_64'. The highest >available version is already installed.
>Resolving package dependencies...

>Nothing to do.

And you have enabled the plug-in in the applet settings and selected the calendars you want to display?

Really sorry, but how can I check that please? I'm quite new to KDE!
Comment 6 James Th 2019-10-05 11:55:53 UTC
working now!

For anyone's future reference:
Right click on digital-clock in the applications bar, and select "configure digital clock". Click on the calendar tab on the left-hand side, and then enable 'PIM events Plugin'.

A new tab will then appear called 'PIM events Plugin', where you can select the calendar to sync too.
