SUMMARY Currently the software update notification will inform me should I have software updates available. However, if I choose to install the updates via the command line, then the update notification continues to state that I have updates available. There should be a button which I can click on to remove the "available" updates (perhaps the broom icon that's in the clipboard application?), also perhaps the automatic updater should re-run itself automatically after perhaps 30 mins to see if the updates haven't been installed via a different means. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. wait for notifications to appear in the software update notification. Update using the command line (sudo zypper dup), and allow the updates to install, try to clear/remove the software update notification from your task bar. OBSERVED RESULT no way to clear the software update notification. EXPECTED RESULT should be able to clear all entries by clicking a button inside the notification window. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: openSUSE TW 20190925 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.62.0 Qt Version: 5.13.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
You can easily clear the notification in the Notification history. What I suspect you're talking about is not actually the notification, but rather the system tray icon (the thing with an upwards-pointing arrow with circular arrows revolving around it with a blur or red dot in the corner), right?
