Description Joe 2019-09-28 20:24:05 UTC
I have noticed after upgrading to 5.16.90, that my USB audio interface (Focusrite 2i2) seems to disappear from the Devices list - normally after sleep/resume. I have to unplug its USB cable and plug it back in to get things working again.

The most strange part is that I still get (very muted) sound from my speakers even though the device is not present. I hadn't seen this before in 5.16.X and before.

System:

Operating System: Arch Linux (kde-unstable enabled, testing disabled)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.90
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.62.0
Qt Version: 5.13.1
Kernel Version: 5.3.1-arch1-1-ARCH
OS Type: 64-bit
Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor
Memory: 15.6 GiB of RAM

Resolving this - i haven't seen it in a long time, especially after switching to pipewire.
