Moving mouse from right to left, trying to find the resize grip (but it's easy to overshoot and miss!)

SUMMARY

My workflow involves resizing and adjusting the in/out positions of clips on the timeline frequently. But the hitbox for the resize grip is rather small (it feels like it's only a couple of pixels or so), so I waste a lot of time positioning my mouse trying to get that left-and-right arrow to appear.

Is it possible to increase the hitbox size for the resize grip?

By "resize grip" do you mean the <-> icon in pichture 2?

Which screen resolution do you use (HighDPI?)
Comment 2 ahiijny 2019-09-21 14:25:50 UTC
@emohr Ah yes, I am referring to the <->.

I do indeed use a high DPI display: 1920x1080 laptop monitor at 125% scaling.

We did some update lately. It should now be better visible. Could you have a look?

Moving mouse from right to left, version 21.12.0

Hello, yes, it seems much better now, thank you!

I think it might have been fixed a while ago. I'd been on version 20.12.2 for a while and I hadn't really noticed any issues related to this. Anyway, I updated to version 21.12.0 just now, and everything here seems fine here as well. (See attached screenshot.)

On my 1920 x 1080 laptop monitor with 125% scaling, the grip width seems to be ~6 pixels now. Previously, it was ~2 pixels. Much better :D
