Description J Regenold 2019-09-18 15:34:43 UTC
SUMMARY
When you zoom the timeline up to 16 all is ok, beyond that the playhead indicator line also zooms and until at max zoom. Really looks awful and makes it hard to zoom in and cut audio especially

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set the playhead indicator anywhere on timeline
2. zoom the timeline to 16
3. When you increase zoom more than 16 the playhead indicator line also gets wider until you reach maximum zoom.

Yes, the playhead line get 1 frame thick on the end. But there is an issue about cutting point. See here: https://invent.kde.org/kde/kdenlive/issues/318.

Be aware that the cut is at frame level always. If you like to cut audio more precisely you have to do that in an audio software like audacity.

The related issue has been closed so I guess this has been fixed to. Can you please test with the latest version (20.12.3 at the moment, https://kdenlive.org/en/download/) and close this report if it is not relevant anymore?
