Description Steve Kelem 2019-09-17 19:53:32 UTC
SUMMARY
Zoom via mouse ctrl-scroll-wheel zooms in, but won't zoom out past "Fit Width"

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use ctrl-scroll-wheel to zoom in. Zoom factor changes to 150%, 200%, etc.
2. Use ctrl-scroll-wheel to zoom out. Zoom factor changes to 200%, 150%, Fit Width, but won't zoom out any further.
3. Click on zoom factor. Change to "Fit Page". Entire page is displayed. Zoom in and out via ctrl-scroll-wheel. Zoom out gets stuck on "Fit Width" and will not display entire page without clicking on Zoom factor and changing it to Zoom Page.

OBSERVED RESULT

EXPECTED RESULT
ctrl-scroll should be able to zoom out to Fit Page and to any zoom factor without being stuck on Fit Page.

Huh, works for me in git master.

Do you have Trim Margins enabled?
Comment 3 Steve Kelem 2019-09-18 22:01:08 UTC
As a matter of fact, I did! Never noticed this before, having searched only the Settings menu for settings.

So, it's not a bug, but it would be nice to make this setting more visible. I wouldn't have guessed that Trim Margins would mean you can't zoom out past the page width.
Comment 4 Albert Astals Cid 2019-09-18 22:03:06 UTC
No, it is a bug, just that trim margins is buggy
