Description Christophe Marin 2019-09-16 10:36:06 UTC
This report is created to leave a trace.

As requested, a new disabled user kscreen-bugs-null@k.o was created and is now the default assignee for the kscreen reports.

It may be worth changing the existing bugs assignee without sending mails. (poke sysadmins :))

Thanks for the heads up Christophe.

I've now registered that as an email address on our side so the Bugzilla emails don't bounce back to Bugzilla and cause issues somewhere.

For now we'll leave the existing KScreen bugs but if the maintainers would like we can certainly arrange for those to be updated in the future.

Is it needed? I thought checking the "disable bugmail" box would prevent messages from being sent

In some cases email can still end up being sent (such as if someone tries to do a password reset for the account or something along those lines) hence why we've always created email addresses on the server side (mostly as a just in case thing).

In general though, the disable bugmail flag should ensure very little mail ends up being sent yes.
