SUMMARY

Transfers aren't suspended when you switch to a metered connection (or change the current network to be metered). I tethered to my phone and ate a bunch of data before I got a text from my cell company

Metered connections are a setting found in the KDE network manager. It seems to autodetect mostly. It'd be nice to not have to go shut down programs when I tether
