Description keegagongon 2019-09-08 06:27:09 UTC
SUMMARY
I am trying to change the wintab setting under the tablet settings in Configure Krita. I try selecting Windows 8+ Pointer Input. Even after restarting the program as recommended it does not save the change. I Tried changing other settings within Configure Krita to see if they would change, and they do not. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, but get the same results. Is this a bug? I am using a Lenovo Flex 6 with Windows 10.

Hi, keegagongon!

Tablet option may automatically reset to the other variant in case your operating system/driver doesn't support this interface (which is rather improbable, though). Are you sure other options are not saved and you pressed OK button after editing them?

Could you make this test?
1) Download DebugView logging application and run it:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/debugview
2) Start Krita, go to Preferences->General->Cursor Shape and select "Crosshair"
3) Press OK in the dialog
4) Restart Krita
5) Go to Preferences->General and check the status of "Cursor Shape". Is it still "Crosshair" or it was reset to "None"?
6) Save the log from DebugView and attach it to this bug :)
