Which version of Windows are you using? What did you do to 'make a preset of the soft airbrush'? I assume you mean 600 b) Airbrush Soft? A more detailed explanation of the sequence of your actions and the events is needed.

And yes, I do mean 600 b) Airbrush soft. What else should I add?

The latest formal release of krita is now version 4.2.6 so please update your installation and try this again. Airbrush Soft is already a preset in the Brush Presets docker so I don't know what you mean by "make a preset of the soft airbrush". Did you use the Brush Editor to modify it and make a new preset based on Airbrush Soft or overwrite the existing preset? What did you do?

What did you do? I installed the latest release of krita and the problem still perists. I'm sorry for being unclear. I meant that I made a new preset based on Airbrush Soft. I made it on August 21st 2019, if that matters. It didn't have this problem until a few days before I submitted my report of the bug.
