Description Ben Daines 2019-09-04 19:24:58 UTC
SUMMARY
currently when a phone connects with existing notifications, kdeconnect spams them all for a good few minutes if there are a good amount of notifications. This also causes a system slowdown. Kdeconnect should add all existing notifications quietly to the panel without creating a popup for each one. Only new notifications are required to pop up on the screen.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set up kdeconnect and have uncleared notifications on the phone
2. put system to sleep
3. wake up system
4. observe the horror

Thanks.

I fully agree. My phone regularly drops the WiFi connection when locked and the reconnects every few minutes... The constant notifications are very annoying.

This has been fixed in https://invent.kde.org/network/kdeconnect-android/-/merge_requests/330 and will be released in the upcoming Android version.
