The whole desktop with no windows shown. The second display has a missing background.

There is an issue that at a certain point, the desktop background on my second display vanishes appearing all black. There seems to be no apparent cause to this bug. Even though I can right click on the troubled desktop and click on "Configure Desktop...", changing the desktop background does not work. Cannot use the lasso selector on the desktop while it is black. The only way I know to temporarily fix this is to log out and log back in.

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti

Sorry that happened. Are you still experiencing this issue in Plasma 5.21?
