Description Kampidh 2019-08-26 07:05:25 UTC

Opening a krita files (.kra) from windows explorer results in opening a new instance of krita rather than a new tab. Even though after reactivating "Allow only one instance of krita" in the configuration, it always launches a new krita window.
Observed this bug after upgrading from 4.2.3 to 4.2.5

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open a .kra file normally
2. open another .kra file directly from windows explorer

OBSERVED RESULT
A new window/instance of krita is opened

EXPECTED RESULT
Opened the file in a new tab instead

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: Windows 10 v.1903 (May 2019 update)
Qt Version: 5.12.4

I'm sorry, I just tested that with 4.2.5 on Windows 10 and it worked as intended: the second image opened in the existing Krita window. Maybe try to reset Krita's settings and test again?

Already did "Restore Defaults" and also deleting the kritarc and kritadisplayrc files in appdata to reset the settings, but still behaves the same. (Haven't tried reinstalling though)

Here's a video to further explain the bug that I'm facing: https://youtu.be/7_t_-gKbSj4

Drag and drop works fine, but double clicking on explorer opens a new window.
