SUMMARY
When your display is set to non-integer scaling values, horizontal lines appear in the editing window. 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Displays -> Scale -> Scale Factor: non-integer (1.1, 1.3, 1.5 ...)
2. Restart
3. Open KDevelop, type stuff, select text, scroll..

OBSERVED RESULT
Horizontal lines

EXPECTED RESULT
No like like you see with Sale=1

Thanks for the report. Which version of KDE Frameworks does your system have? See Help->About KDevelop->tab Libraries

The editor display is done by the KTextEditor from KDE Frameworks, so moving the bug to that product. Because with latest KTextEditor code from development branch I can still see issues, in KDevelop, but also KWrite & Kate.

BTW, using env var QT_SCALE_FACTOR allows to test this more quickly, e.g. by:
QT_SCALE_FACTOR=1.1 kwrite

I get lots of lines e.g. after resizing the window to Maximize and back.
