SUMMARY I tried to access a removable device said "Lecteur chiffré de 734.7 Gio" (734.7 Gib crypted device), but get a message which mixes two partitions: "Une erreur est survenue en accédant à « Média amovible de 196,8 Gio ». Le système a répondu :Le périphérique est déjà monté: Device /dev/dm-1 is already mounted at `/run/media/yves/79fe05bc-6773-44ae-8e28-e9619e16ba85'." 196,8 Gib Removable media is a second partition of a external drive connected through USB3. /run/media/yves/79fe05bc-6773-44ae-8e28-e9619e16ba85 refers to the first one, which is crypted with luks. None of them was mounted previously. The crypted was previously used by deja-dup/duplicity which asked root password for mounting then for unmounting it. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use external drive with a first crypted partitiion with luks, and a second partition in NTFS format 2. Boot, start and finish a backup on the first partition with deja-dup. 3. In dolphin places panel, click on the first partition entry in "Removable Devices" Note that the first partition is also displayed in "Devices" section as "734.7 Gib hard drive" SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Mageia 7 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.57.0 Qt Version: 5.12.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION LANGUAGE=C fdisk -l /dev/sdb Disk /dev/sdb: 931,5 GiB, 1000204886016 bytes, 1953525168 sectors Disk model: 2115 Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 4096 bytes I/O size (minimum/optimal): 4096 bytes / 4096 bytes Disklabel type: gpt Disk identifier: 9A13EFB0-8399-47AB-9A7F-6783192DFC82 Device Start End Sectors Size Type /dev/sdb1 2048 1540810752 1540808705 734,7G Linux filesystem /dev/sdb2 1540812800 1953525134 412712335 196,8G Microsoft basic data cryptsetup -v status luks-a070ee60-9570-449a-836b-a0234aa99244 /dev/mapper/luks-a070ee60-9570-449a-836b-a0234aa99244 is active and is in use. type: LUKS1 cipher: aes-xts-benbi keysize: 512 bits key location: dm-crypt device: /dev/sdb1 sector size: 512 offset: 4096 sectors size: 1540804609 sectors mode: read/write

(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #4) > Are you able to reproduce this issue in the file open/save dialogs' Places > Panel with Frameworks 5.90 or later? Hello, I don't have kf5 5.90, but 5.76.0, from the distribution. The problem still exist in Dolphin, but I can't reproduce it from open dialogs because I'm using LXQt, thus the dialog in not the Plasma one.
