Created attachment 122230 [details] broken config file (kritarc) SUMMARY If krita is closed when open on a secondary screen, the config file corrupts and upon opening krita again,there is a white screen and krita does not respond STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. set up 2 displays and set them to "extend" rather than "duplicate" 2. open krita, drag it onto display 2, and maximize the window 3. close krita 4. open krita again OBSERVED RESULT The splash screen opens on display 1, loads resources, bundles etc. then freezes, a white screen loads on display 2 and does not respond EXPECTED RESULT krita opens normally on display 2, or krita always loads on display 1 by default and can be moved manually SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION deleting/ renaming the kritarc file will allow krita to open again, however, upon closing it with the window on display 2 the issue returns the next time krita is opened
Could you also attach the contents of help->system information for bug reports to this report? I cannot reproduce the issue on my own test systems.

I see you have an nvidia GPU. Could you please check whether this also happens if you go to Settings->Configure Krita->Display and select Angle as the renderer?

Zut... another nvidia/opengl specific bug :-(
