broken config file (kritarc)

SUMMARY
If krita is closed when open on a secondary screen, the config file corrupts and upon opening krita again, there is a white screen and krita does not respond

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. set up 2 displays and set them to "extend" rather than "duplicate"
2. open krita, drag it onto display 2, and maximize the window
3. close krita
4. open krita again

OBSERVED RESULT

The splash screen opens on display 1, loads resources, bundles etc. then freezes, a white screen loads on display 2 and does not respond

EXPECTED RESULT

krita opens normally on display 2, or krita always loads on display 1 by default and can be moved manually

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
deleting/ renaming the kritarc file will allow krita to open again, however, upon closing it with the window on display 2 the issue returns the next time krita is opened

Could you also attach the contents of help->system information for bug reports to this report? I cannot reproduce the issue on my own test systems.

Thanks for your comment!

Automatically switching the status of this bug to REPORTED so that the KDE team

In the future you may also do this yourself when providing needed information.

I see you have an nvidia GPU. Could you please check whether this also happens if you go to Settings->Configure Krita->Display and select Angle as the renderer?

I'll add it to the faq, like the transparency problem.
