I tried to install a Konsole colorscheme from KDE Store using via Appearance Tab. Message I got: "Configuration File Is Invalid: konsole.knsrc" OS: Debian Stable 10.0.0 (Code Buster) KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.54.0 Qt Version: 5.11.3
SOLVED UPDATE: In case someone reads this and the bug hasn't been resolved. 1) Go to $HOME/.config/ 2) Create a file named konsole.knsrc 3) Inside the konsole.knsrc file copy and paste this: [KNewStuff3] ProvidersUrl=https://download.kde.org/ocs/providers.xml Categories=Konsole Color Schemes TargetDir=konsole AcceptHtmlDownloads=false Uncompress=archive 4) Save. Now you can download your desired colorscheme.
That file should be installed by your distro's package installer.
and to be clear, did Konsole actually crash? I just get error message and nothing shows up in the download dialog.
I cannot reproduce the issue either. That's because the file was corrected in a later version. See https://cgit.kde.org/konsole.git/tree/data/konsole.knsrc This is the drawback to using a distro that provides only old versions of KDE software.
