SUMMARY When I close the lid of my laptop while an external monitor is connected, the external monitor becomes primary monitor (dock and all windows move over), even though I have the power settings configured to "Do nothing" on lid close. As soon as I open the lid, everything does move back, but I'd prefer to have a setting to don't move it away in the first place. That is kscreen disconnecting the monitor since the monitor becomes inaccessible as you close it.
You want the windows to remain on a screen that isn't on?
I'd like to have an option to do so. Sometimes I want to close my laptop lid but leave everything on, but when I'm in a workspace, I don't want my whole desktop to be visible on a big monitor while I'm away.
We are not going to have an option that leaves windows inaccessible.
