SUMMARY
Dolphin crashes when you attempt to rename the Trash shortcut on the left sidebar.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open dolphin
2. Right click on the Trash entry and rename it to trash

OBSERVED RESULT
Dolphin crashes and strace shows bad file descriptor related errors.

EXPECTED RESULT
The trash to be renamed.

Obvious workaround is to manually hand edit the ~/.local/share/user-places.xbel file.

Can confirm with Dolphin 19.11.70 on KDE Unstable Git Edition.
Comment 3 gvgeo 2020-01-27 13:20:35 UTC
Is this still a problem? I cannot reproduce with dolphin 19.12.1.
Comment 4 Christoph Feck 2020-02-14 14:04:57 UTC
Cannot reproduce either with Dolphin 19.12.2.
