Description Alexander Potashev 2019-07-29 14:59:34 UTC
SUMMARY
Unclear how to use Language-Team fields:
 1. Unclear if it's for a language name like "Spanish" or for a contact e-mail like "kde-l10n-es@kde.org" or for both: "Spanish <kde-l10n-es@kde.org>".
 2. In the project configuration dialog, it's not obvious that the row below the label "Language-Team:" is related to this label.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.
2.
3.

OBSERVED RESULT

EXPECTED RESULT
Here is what I suggest:
 1. In the application settings and in project settings, add tooltip and whatsthis for the "Language-Team" text input, they should describe the purpose of this field and give an example.
 2. In the project settings, and tooltip and whatsthis for the language-team setting mode combobox (Application/Project/Automatic), they should describe each of these modes.
 3. In the project settings, organize inputs on page "General" into group boxes, possibly as follows, top to bottom:
  - id
  - target language
  - mailing list
  - group box "Language-Team"
    - language-team combobox
    - language-team text input
  - group box "Paths"
    - root folder
    - glossary
(All these inputs are already in place, I only grouped some of them into group boxes.)
