Description Baz Walter 2019-07-26 17:50:52 UTC
SUMMARY

Ever since the New Tab menu was introduced, profile shortcuts merely switch the profile of the current tab, which is a highly inconvenient loss of functionality. Previously, these shortcuts would create a new tab and then execute the command associated with the profile. But now, this can only be achieved via the mouse by clicking on an item in the New Tab menu. So there is no longer any way to open a new tab with a specific profile using a keyboard shortuct, like there was in all previous versions of Konsole.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Assign a keyboard shortcut to a profile
2. Ensure that the "show" column is checked
3. Activate the shortcut
