Description Thiago Sueto 2019-07-26 13:50:46 UTC
SUMMARY
KCharSelect has a setting option named Show Toolbar which is only there to show a Find… button, which in turn simply switches focus to the search field. It is movable, but can only be moved to the bottom of the application, which does not seem to be useful.
This Find… button (and the whole toolbar) seems redundant and could easily be replaced with an icon set before the search field or be removed entirely since the search field already has default text that makes it discoverable enough.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Kubuntu 19.04 (with backports)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.60.0
Qt Version: 5.12.2

The toolbar is hidden by default. If you show it, you probably want to add other actions to the toolbar.
