Description dragonnetstorm 2019-07-26 03:05:38 UTC
SUMMARY
arrow keys in name textbox of the save screen are reversed. Plus the Krita own save window has no previews of artwork in that folder. (Old windows own filebrowser window did)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open any file
2. click save or save as
3. click with the cursor on the name to save as
4. move with the arrow keys forth and back
5. in this whole process icons show up of files, but not actual previews of known image files like .jpg and .png

OBSERVED RESULT
arrows move the text cursor in opposite direction as directed within the highlighted name box
and in this window no preview of artwork shows, only icons of said artwork and file name

EXPECTED RESULT
arrows to move in desired direction as put in on keyboard
in this same explorer window to see artwork preview images on the files to distinguish better (as was used in krita 4.1.7)

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10, latest build
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Updated to last known version of XP-Pen prior to opening Krita 4.2.3. This update caused no hiccups, but it's the only thing that could've stood out. I did not restart computer.

Make sure you have:

* installed the explorer extension for kra files
* checked "use native file dialogs" in Krita's settings.

The development platform we use provides two file dialog implementations, a native one that reuses the windows dialog and a fallback. Neither is coded by us, so this cannot be a bug in Krita.
