I'm sorry, but without a whole lot more detail, we cannot help you, because this is obviously something specific for your system and not a bug anyone else is running into. In fact, your report has so little detail I don't even know what I should ask you. Maybe make a screen recording? Make sure it shows the entire Krita window.

Im sorry ill try to be more specific 😞 what i mean is, when i move my bamboo pen on my tablet, the krita brushes dont move along with my bamboo pen, and when i try to draw like a circle or something, the brushes on krita wont draw a circle. I didnt start having this problem until about two days ago but before that i was drawing everything the same way i try to now, only the brushes had no trouble keeping up with my bamboo pen

Which operating system are you using?

When you move your bamboo pen on your tablet, the krita brushes dont move along with your bamboo pen: What do they do? Do they stay still? Do they lag behind? Do they move in a totally different direction?

When you try to draw like a circle or something, the brushes on krita wont draw a circle: What do they draw? Nothing? An ellipse?

Can you attach a full screenshot of the end result of your trying to draw a circle that includes the Tool Options docker?

I dont know what operating system it is. When i move my pen to draw a line the brushes move slower than my pen and when i go back and forth on a line to make it look better the bryshes hardly move at all. When i try to draw a circle or something like that the brushes wont follow my bamboo pen and wont make a circle itll just make a slight curve

I cant make a screenshot or anything because this is a different device than the one that krita is set up on and that device is old and slow so im not sure if it even has an email set up to it

Please attach a screenrecording of krita running. Use your cellphone if you feel the krita running device is not up to the task, and can you cna show your tablet movement alongside the cursor movement. However if the computer you are using is so slow that it can't record the screen it may not be able to run krita properly.

Your system must be one of the following: Windows (7,8,10), Linux (distros), macOS (High Sierra, Mojave, Catalina). if Linux tell us the desktop environment you are using. Also write here your system specs

Video of brushes

I need to keep going back and forth over a line because it helps make the line straight (my hands are shaky) before i had this problem with the brushes, i could go back and forth and the brushes would follow my bamboo pen closely. Now, when i go back and forth with my bamboo pen, the brush barely even moves and i cant make any lines anymore. Is there any way to fix this?

This looks like a tablet driver issue. what tablet are you using?

You can try some and all of the following:
check whether another driver version fixes the issue; whether clearing the driver settings fixes the issue, whether clearing krita's settings fixes the issue, whether running krita as administrator or another user fixes the issue.

also: try to reinstall your tablet driver, and try to change the option in Configure Krita -> Tablet Settings.

Im not sure what the name of the tablet is but i know it is an old flat bamboo tablet with the black buttons. The computer is old too so maybe one of the solutions you suggested will work

Thank you everybody for your help! I was able to fix my problem! Turns out, my pixel engine needed to be re-booted :D
Comment 16 ldoug102 2019-07-30 00:54:04 UTC
So the brushes are slow again even after re booting the pixel engine. Would resetting krita to default fix this issue and how do you reset krita? I have no default button
Comment 17 ldoug102 2019-07-30 01:03:06 UTC
What is a brush smoothing? I think that may have been the problem because now the brushes are up to speed with any size now! I had my brush smoothing on weighted, but now i changed it to none, and everything seems better
Comment 18 Halla Rempt 2019-07-30 08:36:42 UTC
I'm not sure what you mean with "rebooting the pixel engine". For brush smoothing, see the manual: https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/tools/freehand_brush.html?highlight=smoothing
