Created attachment 121613 [details] This file is terminal error message. SUMMARY Hello, I'm using Manjaro(KDE) latest update. I successfully installed kdenlive 19.04.3 package with pacman. But I couldn't run. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. sudo pacman -S kdenlive => Success 2. I tried to click kdenlive Icon. 3. I waited about 10 seconds. But kdenlive didn't started. (Please see youtube video with 720p.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyJsdBx_PQY 4. So, I tried to type kdenlive in terminal. 5. I saw many error messages. And didn't run too. (Please check attachment txt file.) Can I solve this problem? How can I do? ※ When I removed kdenlive package(sudo pacman -R -n -s kdenlive) and run appimage file, this appimage file worked well. Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 19.04.3b to see if there are any packaging issues https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ If the problem/issue doesn't occur when using the AppImage, then it's your configuration or packaging.
Thank you reply. "kdenlive-19.04.3-x86_64.appimage" file runs well. "kdenlive-19.04.3b-x86_64.appimage" file doesn't run. I tested on Virtual Machine with Manjaro Linux too. The results were the same.
In my computer, "kdenlive-19.04.3b-x86_64.appimage" file doesn't work on Ubuntu 18.04, too.
I had the same issue with Lubuntu 18.04. Try: sudo apt-get update, sudo apt-get install libxcb-keysyms1. Or update to the current distribution 19.04 (even if you have the long term version). This will install an updated QT XCB database which Kdenlive 19.04 version needs.
