SUMMARY When reference images are modified with the right-click pop-up menu (copy/paste, mirror horizontally, etc.), left clicking the canvas stops working for any tool (dragging the ref image, painting, panning, ...) Problem is only present in drag-and-dropped reference images, not for ones added using the button in Tool Options. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a new document 2. Drag-and-drop an image onto the canvas, "Insert as Reference Image" 3. Select the reference image 4. Right-click and "Mirror Horizontally" OBSERVED RESULT Left-click stops working for any tool (dragging the ref image, painting, panning, etc.) EXPECTED RESULT Left-clicking should work normally SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: 10.14.4 Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: 5.12.3 (compiled and loaded) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The problem seems to resolve temporarily if you leave the Krita app and then go back to it, or if you close and reopen the document.
I can confirm this bug. This only happens on a fresh opened image, There is no need to select an action. 4. right click 5. left click (or escape to hide menu) outside of menu I can recover left-click inside Krita after calling the popup palette. Or by selecting another application window and return to Krita. If selecting another app window the bug dissapears.
New discovery. If "show pop up palette" is set to a keyboard key there is no freeze. It only happens on right click invocation.
I can no longer reproduce in latest 5.1.1
