ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I could import those brushes in my previous version, but I don't remember if it was Krita 4.2.0 or 4.1.x
Comment 1 Halla Rempt 2019-07-14 11:10:45 UTC
Please attach the actual ABR file that is giving problems.
Comment 2 Jose 2019-07-14 16:09:56 UTC
I can't add this brush file (it's 93Meg and attachement file is restricted to 4meg max), but I have tried others with no success at all.
Comment 3 vanyossi 2019-07-16 04:24:45 UTC
Upload the file to an online storage (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc), share the file and paste the link here. Without the ABR file itself there is little we can do. (for the record I imported a random ABR from the web and it showed on predefined tips as supposed)
Comment 4 Jose 2019-07-16 07:19:44 UTC
Ok,

here is one abr file I can't load the tips from. In fact, I can't load tips from any abr file. I have standard 4.2.2 Krita version.

Thanks for your help!
Comment 5 Halla Rempt 2019-07-16 07:58:46 UTC
That ABR file is invalid, I'm afraid. When trying to parse it, it announces itself as version 0.0:

krita.general: ERROR: unable to decode abr format version 0 (subver 0 )

It might be too new: Adobe stopped documenting the ABR file format more than ten years ago so we can only support old ABR files, version 1 and 2, and not anything newer.
Comment 6 Jose 2019-07-16 08:02:21 UTC
I also tried to load an old abr file that I was able to import with a previous Krita version (4.2.0 or 4.1.x I don't remember), but Krita 4.2.2 can't.
Comment 7 Halla Rempt 2019-07-16 08:03:37 UTC
I've tried this file you shared with Krita 3.0, 4.0 and 4.2.2 and no version of Krita could load it; if you have a file that used to load, please share that file.

Setting to needinfo, since we need that sample file for testing.
