Description Rafael Linux User 2019-07-14 10:18:15 UTC
SUMMARY
I created 5 projects last week, with kdenlive-19.04.2-39137f4-x86_64.appimage
version. Today I downloaded kdenlive-19.04.3-x86_64.appimage and when I try to load any of mentioned projects, kdenlive 19.04.2 shows an error "This project type is unsupported (version 0.99) and cannot be loaded. Please consider upgrading your Kdenlive version.". However, I can load projects not saved with kdenlive-19.04.2-39137f4-x86_64.appimage

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Save a project with kdenlive-19.04.2-39137f4-x86_64.appimage version
2. Try to load that project with kdenlive-19.04.3-x86_64.appimage version

OBSERVED RESULT
A window showing "This project type is unsupported (version 0.99) and cannot be loaded. Please consider upgrading your Kdenlive version."

EXPECTED RESULT
To load the project without issues.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
OpenSUSE 15.0 64bits
KDE Plasma Version: 5.12.8
KDE Frameworks 5.51.0
Qt 5.12.4 (built against 5.12.4)
The xcb windowing system

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I tried to load with nightly version kdenlive-19.07.70-b901b42-x86_64.appimage and it worked fine, but I would like to use the latest stable version to avoid again this problem.

Where did you get the AppImage "kdenlive-19.04.2-39137f4-x86_64.appimage" ? If it was downloaded from binary-factory.kde.org, it was probably a naming mistake, and the AppImage was in fact using git master - binary-factory always compiles git master.

Good news is that 19.08 will be released very soon (rc should be published friday)

I can't locate the URL from where I downloaded the mentioned version. Anyway, thank you for your news. I'll wait to try the new version.
