SUMMARY If you search "group" in keyboard shortcuts, Group Layer and Quick Group are both set to "ctrl+g". There is no ambiguous shortcut dialog, it just does not work. Removing Group Layer binding solves the issue. Tested with fresh configuration STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Settings > Configure Krita > Keyboard Shortcuts 2. Set shortcut scheme to "photoshop_compatible" 3. Create some layers (ctrl+shift+n) 4. Select two layers (ctrl+click) 5. Try to group (ctrl+g) OBSERVED RESULT Unable to group, nothing happens EXPECTED RESULT The selected layers are grouped SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Can confirm issue. Reason is: Ctrl+G is ambiguous (Quick Group, Group layer).
