Description Storm Engineer 2019-07-12 16:40:01 UTC
Every time Krita starts the eraser side of my Wacom stylus is changed to the preset "Basic tip default".

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Chose a preset with the Eraser side
2. Restart Krita

OBSERVED RESULT

The eraser tip is reset to the same brush preset every time

EXPECTED RESULT

Eraser tip is left on whatever preset it last had.

As of 4.3.0-prealpha (git 3e21da9), this issue is still present for me.
Comment 2 wolthera 2020-04-25 10:00:27 UTC
This is because it only saves the eraser end at shutdown, did you shutdown krita properly, or did you have crashes?

I looked at this about a month ago in response to a forum question:
https://krita-artists.org/t/setting-a-default-eraser/4618

The eraser end preset is correctly saved in kritarc but it seems to be ignored at next startup.

I was sure I'd seen a bug report about this before so I assumed this problem was being worked on and needed no further action.
