SUMMARY The DE randomly freezes, but software keeps running with the frozen screen (it doesn't fully die). Sometimes it helps to kill a kded5 thread and the DE starts responding again, sometimes `systemctl restart sddm` makes the PC usable again, sometimes even that doesn't work. I have tested OpenGL2 and OpenGL3 compositor backends and both freeze randomly, testing xrender right now. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use the DE normally 2. The Ubuntu bug has a few logs attached already, if needed I can provide more logs.
The error also occurs when the backend is xrender. Though it seems that rapidly switching between the frozen DE and a TTY it starts to respond again sometimes.

Interestingly enough, switching from xorg modesetting driver to xorg radeon driver tremendously reduced the amount the DE freezes. There are still a few infrequent and silent freezes but I have no clue how to debug those.
What specifically is frozen? Do windows update? Does the mouse cursor move?
