I've got graphic artifacts, looking like blinking colorful dots and dashes after Kubuntu 18.04 installation on my Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 12.5 laptop with intel graphics.
It happens once a couple of days, after a couple of hours of work. To stop the blinking, you can just move the application window around. I've tried switching different OpenGL backends, and changed other compositing changes, but nothing helps.
I can provide more insights on hardware and/or logs if needed. Thanks much!

Looks like a driver issue, please file a bug report at https://bugs.freedesktop.org/.
