SUMMARY
Krita becomes unresponsive after hitting the delete key during a partial selection using the polygonal selection tool when there are no selections present.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Make a blank document.
2. Make sure there are no selections. Ctrl shift A to deselect all.
3. Use the polygonal selection tool
4. Put down a few points but don't complete the selection.
5. Hit the delete key.

OBSERVED RESULT
Krita hangs

EXPECTED RESULT
Nothing happens

I don't get a freeze or get unresponsive interface, what I get is: the fill/delete action starts and at the same time it finishes the polygon tool.


I agree nothing should be happening, unless the finish line sequences are performed.

This was reported a few weeks ago (I'm sure Boud was involved) and I've deleted the emails for it so it's probably been fixed. I can't find the bug report using search though.

Can you try the Stable Windows build at: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krita_Stable_Windows_Build/

If that doesn't work, try the Nightly build at: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krita_Nightly_Windows_Build/

Note: If you want to undo the last point in a polygonal sequence, use Shift+Z
