Journalctl boot log

when attempting to log into a plasma wayland session, kwin_wayland core dumps

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. On sddm login, select Plasma (wayland), enter username and password and log in

OBSERVED RESULT
sddm restarts and the login screen is presented.

EXPECTED RESULT
Should log into a plasma wayland session.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: 5.1.15-arch1-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Jun 25 04:49:39 UTC 2019 x86_64 GNU/Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.59.0
Qt Version: 5.13.0rc3

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a regression from 5.15.5

When the sddm login screen is re-presented following the attempted plasma wayland login:
   1. Attempting to switch to another tty, for example ctrl-alt-f2, the system locks up and the only recovery is ctrl-alt-del.
   2. Can immediately log into a plasma session.

Have you enabled the [kde-unstable] repo without also enabling [testing]?
Comment 2 Richard Ullger 2019-06-29 19:25:59 UTC
Yes. Fixed. Sorry for the noise.
