SUMMARY
Cannot install software from discover. Get error message: You have no authorization to execute this operation

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open Discover
2. Choose application 
3. Click install button

OBSERVED RESULT

Get error message: You have no authorization to execute this operation

Looks like something with Polkit isn't set up right. It doesn't display a password dialog at all?

Nate, thanks for the puch tword polkit. I should have been able to see that. It was a problem I caused by trying to install xRDP. THe resolution is in the following links:
