On Preferences > Themes and Preferences > Extensions There should be a button called (e.g.) "Install", that would allow users to browser their hard drive, select and install the Zip file (containing extensions or themes) downloaded from store.falkon.org Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.59.0 Qt Version: 5.12.3
In the dev version of Falkon there is support for ocs url. In other words you can install plugins by pressing Install button on store.falko.org But I also agree that manual installation would be nice.
Yes, but afaik ocs is only for Linux (and if i'm not mistaken it also requires installation of additional packages beside Falkon). Since Falkon is not Linux-only, it would be great to have at least a manual install. Naturally, if ocs url would work cross-OS and if it would depend just on Falkon - and would not need the user to install other dependencies - that would be truly AWESOME and would be even better that manual install.
It is truly only ocs url, which is truly implemented in Falkon. You probably mean Knewstuff library, this is not implemented, yet.

What i mean is that "ideally" what would be great would be: User installs Falkon (in his 3 OS: Linux, mac and on Windows) he goes on to store.falkon.org, selects the extension and clicks "Install", the extensions downloads and falkon takes care of the installation of the extension. So, all the user had to do was to: Install Falkon; Go to store.falkon.org and select the extension Click on the Install button. The rest would be automatic (Something like installing a FF addon ). It should be the same experience on Linux/Mac/linux This would be gold for Falkon! Not being possible, downloading the file and selecting it manually to install would be the way to go :)
