Description Fahad Alduraibi 2019-06-26 08:08:21 UTC
I use Fedora 30 with KDE spin, in a network behind a proxy.
I have the proxy set in http_proxy env, PackageKit and KDE settings
When running Discover it will connect to the proxy with no issues
(from netstat i see plasma-discover connecting to the proxy)

However, flatpak-system-helper tries to connect directly to the update servers and not through our proxy.
Some online sites suggested setting the proxy for Gnome too! so I did that (from CLI using gsettings) but that didn't help.

How can I tell it to use the proxy? it should get the settings from the env variables, no?

* Note: system is up to date.

Does Discover itself set the "http_proxy" env variable for Flatpak? Ideally, it would do that based on the System Settings / kioslaverc.
