Created attachment 121116 [details] Straigh line at the beggining . Lost signal on tablet? SUMMARY It is not easy to see because is related with high precission and speed. So maybe more other users didn't notice I noticed this because I am teaching krita to a comic artist. He needs a very good brushtroke. I have tested this in AZ drawing and nothing happens. Also csp and nothing happens. Maybe a bug here in windows 10.It seems to be usual in other users. I report under tablet support because i think is a problem on how Wacom send info to tablet in Krita. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1.Open Krita 4.2.1 and select Ink 3 G-pen for example 2. Draw several fast brushstrokes with different pressure values. 3. Repeat and repaet because not always happens. OBSERVED RESULT This produce a weird line. Attached image show better the effect EXPECTED RESULT Cleaner and presise line. That makes the difference between a good ink job and a normal job. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: W10 macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION My wacom ptk440 /intuos 4s) I have tested also in Krita 4.1.7 to see how if this is happening before.and yes. Same results.
This also happens in macOS with fast strokes with wacom and genius tablets. Could it be that there is some latency issues when initializing the stroke? I don't recall experiencing this on Linux builds.
If Ivan, a developer, can reproduce this, it is confirmed.
Hi, Ramon! Could you please try to go to the Wacom driver settings, search for "double click" and "right click by hold-down" options and disable them? This bug usually happens because the driver holds events for a fractions of a second to recognize right-click or double-click.
