SUMMARY
Hidden categories are not shown when "show hidden" (not sure on the exact english wording) is checked.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. hide a full category like recently saved in the places panel
2. check "show hidden"

OBSERVED RESULT
Categories that have been hidden are not shown even when show hidden is checked.

EXPECTED RESULT
Hidden categories would be shown.

I may or may not have been confused by some change to the places panel in an update. Closing since I can't reproduce it now.
