SUMMARY Every time I open the application, I try to start painting. Then, the brush/mouse will suddenly start lagging bad, the canvas glitches and turns transparent repeatedly, then the program crashes. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Tried uninstalling then reinstalling 2. Tried windows compatibility troubleshooter 3. Tried changing program settings OBSERVED RESULT No change, in fact it lagged more every time the program reopened EXPECTED RESULT Something to help SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows:8.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION When I first installed it, made my first painting, it ran almost flawlessly aside from the transparency glitches in the canvas, which I could ignore. But it had no other problems, nothing was slow, everything worked great. The second time I tried to paint is when it started having problems.
* Please provide the information from help->system information for bug reports * Uninstalling/reinstalling is useless. Try to reset Krita's settings instead (https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#resetting-krita-configuration) * Check in task manager whether there are other processes running that take a lot of CPU * Please try to make a crash log (https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/dr_minw_debugger.html#dr-minw)
