SUMMARY
If I select dark mode all of the menus disappear and become unreadable. When I delete config file info related to menus I got things going again but now missing other menus like video processing effects for Contrast and others.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. select settings -> theme -> dark
2. top menus will shrink down
3. if you select them you just get a black window and can't see menus any longer.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I'm using Linux Mint Mate on thinkpad X1 Extreme 4k display
editing ~/.config/kdenliverc and removing the line:
widgetstyle=bb10dark

However, I now seem to be missing menus like contrast and not sure how to find it again.

Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 19.04.2e to see if there are any packaging issues https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/

If the problem/issue doesn't occur when using the AppImage, then it's your configuration or packaging.
