OS/Compiler notes: 

There is no way to recive old articles again after an expire cleans the groups.
The only way is to unsuscribe and suscribe the group again. Gravity for example gives you an option to manage the article counter for each group.
Surely no problem but nice to have.

as it seems this feature is still not available with 0.10.1
