Description BP_Tec 2019-06-11 20:51:54 UTC
SUMMARY
After searching my database for images with certain tags, most of the image thumbs are not displayed until i move my mouse pointer over them.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Using a large database, mine is 1.2Tb, search for images with a tag
2. Check that all image thumbs are there, also resize the size of the displayed thumbs

OBSERVED RESULT
Sometime only have the image thumb is displayed, other times no image is displayed until the mouse rolls over it, then it immediately appears.

EXPECTED RESULT
Image thumbs should be there immediatly

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
PoP_Os Linux/Gnome:

Digicam Appimage 6.1.0

KDE Frameworks 5.56.0
Qt 5.11.3 (built against 5.11.3)

This is a very strange behavior and should be specific to Ubuntu. I do not think we can reproduce it. Which display manager do you use?

Hi all,

I'm using SQLlite database, and Gnome display manager.

Im guessing its just a gnome issue then, thanks for your feedback, its not a huge issue for me, just thought i would log it down and try to give back to the community a little...

Kind regards,
