Description jensenr30 2019-06-07 05:59:34 UTC
SUMMARY
When I search for "cash" using Discover, 0 programs are returned from the search. However, when I search for "gnucash", I find gnucash (as one would expect). The search function should be fixed so that the entire name of programs are checked for the search-key

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Discover.
2. Search for "gnucash".
3. Clear your search bar.
4. Search for "cash".

OBSERVED RESULT
searching for "gnucash" yields a 1 result (the gnucash program)
searching for "cash" yields 0 results.

EXPECTED RESULT
I expected that searching for "cash" would have returned the gnucash program, and perhaps others.

You're using an ancient version of Discover. Searching for "cash" finds GNUCash for me just fine with 5.15 and 5.16.

Please considering upgrading to a newer version of Debian, or using a distro that provides more up-to-date software versions.
