SUMMARY I have compiled both heaptrack_print and heaptrack_gui. I have not had success with heaptrack itself. I seem to have all the dependencies in place. Does heaptrack compile on a mac? I'm asking because I have not been successful at eliminating the following error: "Searching for X11 and related technologies is disabled on Apple systems" despite updating my sshd_config file to toggle to control and confirmed my capacity to run X11 apps. So I'm beginning to wonder if I'm trying to do something that can't be done! :) Thanks in advance. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
heaptrack itself doesn't work on mac, only interpret + gui work there recording memory profiles with heaptrack is quite linux specific
