SUMMARY

when printing a list of thumbnail images, of course the thumbnail is an easy way to find negatives in an envelope you printed.
but adding a comment underneath would be appreciated.
(i think human read faster than matching images)

also.. it's perhaps too overkill, but the ability to convert a comment into a barcode could be useful for professionals that need to deals with a lot of negatives. (now that phone are used as barcode readers, and that some apps can use it to connect to external databases)

sometime, i'm using /usr/bin/barcode tool, to generate EPS barcode, but only for fancy purpose. Just because a serial number alone is more difficult to see than a barcode+serial. It give a more professional look, even if i'm not using it.
but i always though a professional would like to do it this way, in a more integrated service.

anyway, the barcode is just an additional feature i long had in mind. the main one still the need of a comment ^^
